Tyre Fill

The process, often called "foam filling" or "tyre filling", involves injecting a two-component liquid polyurethane elastomer into a pneumatic tire through the valve stem. This liquid replaces all the air inside the tyre and the polyurethane cures into a solid, shock-absorbing elastomer.

​Once cured, the tyre is no longer susceptible to punctures from nails, sharp metal, rocks, or other debris. The resulting tyre behaves similarly to a solid rubber tyre in that it is flat-proof, but it retains a softer, more cushioned ride quality that is comparable to a pneumatic tyre.
